Who We Are & What We Do

Forestborn is an Irish pastry company based in Dublin, born out of a ten-year partnership between two friends who share a love of honest, high-quality baking.

Before opening our own bakery in Dublin, we first launched one back home in Kyiv.
Our journey toward that first patisserie began with a small shop focused on organic and natural products. It included a cozy café — and it was there that the search for the right pastries truly began.

One of the biggest challenges we faced in this project was finding pastries that met the same high standards as the rest of the store. We were truly happy with the quality of our main products, which came from trusted suppliers who shared our values. But when it came to pastries, it was a completely different story. One of the biggest challenges we faced at the time was finding baked goods that met those same high standards. Eventually, the only way to meet them was to start baking ourselves.

Our desserts quickly became popular in the neighborhood, and before long, other coffee shops began ordering from us too.

Now, Forestborn is taking root in Ireland, where we’ll continue creating with the same care and values we’ve always had.

Although we now live in different countries, we remain committed business partners and continue to grow our business together.

For us, Forestborn is more than a business. It’s a story of friendship, trust, and creating something meaningful — the very things that give us the strength to keep moving forward, no matter what.
